Food Intolerance Tests*

* Lorisian define Food Intolerance as a food-specific IgG reaction.  Our information is intended to provide nutritional advice for dietary optimisation.  Neither Lorisian, nor Lynn Smith, claim to treat or cure symptoms and recommend that you discuss any medical concerns you have with a GP before undertaking Lorisian tests or programmes.

Lorisians parent company, York Test, have over 35 years of experience in the field of diagnostic testing.  They specialise in providing Gold standard laboratory tests that can help you to customise your diet.  If you think the foods you might be eating are making you feel ill then these tests may help you identify a food intolerance.

A food intolerance is identified by analysing a blood sample to check for food specific IgG antibody reactions.  You take a small blood sample with the kit provided and send it to the Lab in a prepaid envelope.  The Lab see whether there is an immune reaction in the blood when it is tested against multiple foods and drinks.   If there is a food specific IgG antibody immune reaction then it is possible that the particular food or drink identified in the test may be contributing to your symptoms.

You can select from a number of different tests depending on your reason for testing (eg weightloss, IBS or general interest) and dependent on the types of food groups that you want to test.
