What is Prolon®

ProLon ® is a 5-day Fasting Mimicking Diet that provides your body with enough nutrients to thrive while maintaining your cells in a state of fasting. 

Clinical studies have shown that following a Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD) can have a positive effect on a number of health-related issues such as normal cholesterol levels, IGF-1 and fasting glucose and other markers of inflammation.  ProLon® is the only diet proven to promote health and combat the processes known to be involved with ageing and disease.

ProLon® is only available through Registered Health Providers to ensure that it is used according to guidelines, and that anyone who may have a condition not suited to immediately starting the programme can have their health supported through other methods initially, before then being able to commence using ProLon®     I am proud to be registered to support clients in their use of ProLon® to help them make fasting a regular part of their proactive healthy lifestyle.

Fasting triggers a number of long-term benefits, including cell regeneration, visceral fat-driven weight loss and the promotion of healthy ageing.  If Fasting is so beneficial then why isn’t everyone doing it?  Because for many people fasting is too difficult to do, particularly water fasts over several days.  With ProLon ® you get all the great benefits of fasting, while still being able to eat three meals a day. 

These meals are controlled in daily portions of plant-based ingredients without additives or chemicals.  The simple daily packs, taken one-each over 5 consecutive days, make it easy for you to undertake the Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD) with minimal disruption to your daily lifestyle*    You just take it easy as you reintroduce food on the first day of the followup 25 days of the month, and then complete another 2 cycles of the FMD over the following 2 months before moving on to a maintenance phase (personalised dependent on health status and goals). 

Now you obviously can’t expect that the 3 meals a day are going to be your normal food or calorie intake!  ProLon® provides 5 days of limited calorie intake which cleverly tricks your metabolism into responding as if it is in a fasting state.  Meanwhile you still get to enjoy a selection of plant-based energy bars, soups, snacks, drinks and supplements, all studied and carefully designed to nourish your body and promote positive changes.
